YU-EN's owner-chef Takeshi Tong has been active in the Japanese culinary field in Hong Kong since 1997. In 2006, Takeshi was nominated to work as an exchange chef in a sushi restaurant in Sendai, Japan. In 2016, he further broadened his culinary horizons at Switzerland's "Hotel Ambassador Bern".

Immerse yourself in the natural scent and warm ambience surrounded by Yoshino-hinoki, Japanese cypress. Guests are seated at a counter table made of a whole piece of 95mm thick knotless heartwood of elegant Yoshino-hinoki from Nara prefecture.
